Supernova Spectacular VEX Robotics Competition

The Supernova VEX Robotics Competition consisted of two tournaments: one for middle school teams (VRC MS) and another for high school teams (VRC HS). Both tournaments brought student competitors together to showcase their engineering, coding, and strategic gameplay skills.

Hypernova FRC attended as volunteers to support event operations and ensure a smooth experience for all teams. Responsibilities included:

  • Scorekeeper referees

  • Running field reset

  • Queueing teams for upcoming matches

  • Robot inspections

  • Running volunteer and team check-in tables

  • MCing and commentating live matches

Event Statistics

  • Events: 2 (MS and HS Competitions)

  • Total attendees: 100+

  • Teams competed: 72 total

  • Age range: 11-18
